JOTE has a three-fold mission:

  • To provide educational programs and activities focused on the connection between Judaism and the environment.
  • To provide religious outreach programs about Jewish environmental study and service.
  • To provide local institutions with educational and technical assistance regarding environmental practices.
  • Advocate on behalf of creation.
  • Support environmental activists.
